Summer Day Camp – 2008 Daily Schedule

NEW IN 2008: This year’s five-period daily program gives campers a real opportunity for skill building. Rather than selecting afternoon activities day by day, campers will list activity preferences on their registration form. We will send them their weekly schedule a week before the session begins. Campers will have swimming plus 2 - 4 other activities each session (Weds. afternoons will still be all-camp activities). We encourage campers to participate in as many activities as possible during multiple sessions at camp and we’ll try to give them at least one or two of their favorite activities each session.

Upon arriving at camp, campers are placed into Attendance Groups, which are smaller groups within the three levels of camp: Thunder Campers are entering grades 2 and 3, Lightning Campers are entering grades 4, 5, and 6, and Quasar Campers are entering grades 7 and 8.

A Typical Day at Camp

Camp runs from 9:00 - 4:00. There are five 65-minute activity periods with 10 minutes of travel time in between. Lunch is a half hour.
