Spring 2017 Programs
USA Archery Level 1 Certification - June 10-11
Get certified to run an archery course and fine tune your own archery skills with this nationally recognized archery certification. Program cost $160 (lodging available for a fee)..
SOLO Urban First Aid/CPR Certification - June 11-12
Urban First Aid provides students with the concept of prevention from common first aid problems to the skills to safely assess an emergent scene, as well as, how to protect oneself when dealing with a patient, narrowing down the possible problem, and providing temporary treatment in a urban setting until EMS arrives. Program Cost $110.
SOLO CPR Certification - June 11
The curriculum for SOLO Basic CPR-AED satisfies the requirements for CPR training according to the latest ECC/ILCOR and American Heart Association guidelines. The SOLO CPR curriculum exceeds the American Heart recommended guidelines. Program cost $40.
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training - June 5-9 & June 19-23
This nationally recognized lifeguard course provides full training and CPR certification allowing participants to operate pool or waterfront facilities. Program cost $300 (lodging available for a fee).
SOLO Wilderness First Aid - June 24-25
Many backcountry emergencies are preventable, and even when bad things happen, sometimes the wrong care can make things worse. By learning a few basic skills, you can make the difference between a good outcome and a bad one-and maybe even save a life. A current CPR certification is required for this course, re-certification is available as an add-on ($40). Program cost $175 (lodging available for a fee).
Fall 2017 Programs
Wilderness First Responder - October (schedule not yet confirmed)
SOLO’s Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course is the recognized industry standard for those who work as backcountry trip leaders, camp counselors, mountain guides, river guides, and ski patrollers.
