Camp Beech Cliff hosts many gatherings each year. From multi-day weddings in the amphitheater, to more intimate lakeside team retreats and afternoon birthday parties on the climbing wall, CBC has a space to make your group experience memorable. The resources of Acadia Leadership Institute are also always available to add the experiences that will make your visit to Mount Desert Island unforgettable.

Gathering Spaces at CBC

The Camp Beech Cliff 50 acre campus offers a variety of spaces to meet the needs of your group program.  Some spaces are at the center of the campus while others offer more secluded settings.  Please contact us to schedule a visit to see our facilities and discuss how we could best serve your group or program.

Meeting Rooms

Our “Great Room” regularly hosts small meetings of fewer than a dozen, yet can be setup to accommodate upwards of 50 participants. Satellite spaces, both indoors and out, offer opportunities for break-out sessions and alternate venues.  And yes, that is a stone fireplace... nothing sets a good tone for a meeting like a cozy fire. 

“Mains’l”, our lakeside retreat, is an ideal space for quiet gatherings.  A large stone fireplace warms this wood paneled interior, while a broad deck offers views of the lake and the loons that regularly visit our waterfront. 

Indoor Activity Spaces

The Eagle’s Nest is regularly used for gatherings in excess of 100 participants.  This space can be configured for receptions, speaking engagements, or left open for physical programs such as basketball or volleyball. A 30’ climbing wall makes up one end of the space as well. An attached catering kitchen is available to meet your program’s needs. Camp Beech Cliff has many additional open buildings that can be configured to facilitate the goals of your gathering.  

Outdoor Gathering and Activity Spaces

Don’t forget the best setting... the great outdoors. Camp Beech Cliff’s open field, amphitheater, covered pavilions and waterfront can provide the most comfortable of settings. Outdoor activity spaces include a basketball court, beach volleyball pit, archery range, and our large play field... right for any activity from a competitive soccer match to a carefree game of frisbee. Of course there are also the unique high ropes and low ropes courses.
